Verizon

...you've always been so good to me!  How could you have let me down like this?  We've been together for 12 years...even when we broke up and I left you for AT&T, we reunited with no regrets.  It seems we could not make this long distance relationship work.  How could you do this to me?  I hate you!

Stand by for a new cell phone number....

  2. you should be fine! basically, they were charging me for my emails and texts as if I was still in the U.S. Even though I called 3 times to make sure I was good to go!!!

  3. Wow.. did they re-imburse you for those charges? I'm moving from AT&T to...SPRINT! I know.. I've heard nothing good about sprint (in the early years), but know a few people who use them now and have been told that they've gotten a lot better. Plus their new EVO phone has really neat features that the iPhone doesn't. We'll see!

After going at it with 2 people last night (the NY in me came through),I was about to cancel my plan; however, I spoke to Wendy from VZ this morning who was super helpful and will be reimbursing me 100%. She also made the appropriate changes so I will have my phone # until Jan 2012. Then I'll need to change to a Canadian phone - didn't want the early termination fees right now. U.S. folks can call me with no issues, but Canadians will be charged long distance. That won't be a problem until we make friends :)
